Project Overview – Elcho Main Drain Stage 1

Elcho Main Drain job in Lara constructed by Jaydo.

Jaydo was awarded the Elcho Main Drain Stage 1 by the City of Greater Geelong for drainage improvements on Heales Rd, Lara. Jaydo have been engaged to install 350L/M of Triple 1200RRJ, 600L/M of twin 1200RRJ , 660L/M of Single 1500RRJ plus 800L/M of Single line 750RRJ, 900RRJ &  1350RRJ drainage pipes. Also included in the works is a 5 cell box culvert structure and with rock beaching and construction of new open table drain. The total tonne of pipes alone for this job were approx. 3410 and works are estimated to take 3 Months.

Challenges facing Jaydo include the volume of rock encountered, and moving large volumes of trench material to council fill areas. Ensuring lead times are met on Pipe supply and delivery, and handling large diameter pipes throughout the work zone.
